These events are associated with the release of regulated substances that may impact soil, groundwater, surface water, or ecological resources. The dataset is used to support environmental assessment, remediation tracking, regulatory oversight, and public information needs. NDEP staff have made efforts to verify the data presented in this feature layer; however, discrepancies may exist in the geographic locations and case details. There may be additional locations that NDEP oversees for corrective action that are not shown in this feature layer (e.g., coordinates not provided). For more information on the types of corrective action events, please see this website.This dataset may be used to assist in identifying general locations where assessment and/or cleanup of hazardous or regulated substances have occurred in Nevada.
